Flower City Tissue Mills Company was founded as a manufacturer of wrapping tissue paper in 1906. The original products were white wrapping tissue and white anti-tarnish tissue. The paper machine was of the classic Fourdrinier style which is known for producing a strong, well-formed sheet with good strength characteristics in both directions. Multiple dryers imparted an M.F. finish to the tissue. Today, a newer style Fourdrinier machine is producing all of our numerous grades, and we continue to use multiple dryers to continue the M.F. tradition.

Over the past many years, our product line has been expanded to include kraft anti-tarnish tissue, buffered tissue, colored tissue, contoured tissue, printed tissue—stock and custom, waxed tissue, flame-retardant tissue, shredded tissue, retail packaged tissue, and sparkle tissue. We also offer non-tissue items which include frosty shopping bags—plain, printed, or hot stamped, and printed high density poly which can be interleaved with tissue, if desired. Color Cel, polypropylene sheets in various colors, is another non-tissue product we offer.
